Boiling egg in simple and easy way

Eggs are a rich source of protein and vitamins and are generally healthy to eat, unless you have a high cholesterol level.
You can eat eggs raw, boiled or cooked in a pan as scrambled eggs or an omelet. Boiling eggs is one of the easiest ways to prepare them. Follow the steps!

First of all, place the raw egg in a saucepan!

Second, Run cold water into the saucepan until the water is 1 inch above the egg.

After that, Place the saucepan on a stove and cook over medium heat until the water begins to boil.

The next, don't forget to reduce the heat to low

Then, Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes for soft-boiled eggs or 10 to 15 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.

Finally, Remove the egg with a spoon or ladle and let it cool slowly, or run cold water over it to cool it more quickly.

Catatan :
Jika Anda ingin mengatur posisinya. Ubah aja nilai atribut top-nya. Kalau mau lebih ke atas dikit, ubah jadi 30px atau 20px, terserah Anda.

Mengenal Guru Yang bisa memotivasi Siswa

alah satu ciri guru yang bisa memotivasi adalah antusiasme, mereka peduli dan paham dengan apa yang diajarkannya dan mengkomunikasikannya dengan murid bahwa apa yang sedang mereka pelajari itu penting. Ia memberikan teladan yang dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi siswanya.
Ciri-ciri guru yang berkualitas dan bisa memotivasi siswa adalah guru yang melakukan hal-hal sebagai berikut :

1.Menjadi manajer yang baik yang mampu merencanakan,mengelola, mengorganisasikan serta mengevaluasi kelasnya, murid-murid akan merasa aman dan nyaman bersamanya

2.fasilitator yang memperlakukan semua siswa mendapatkan kesempatan untuk belajar dan bertanggungjawab

3.Memberikan pengaruh arus balik yang bersifat korektif

4.Memberikan test-tes yang adil, penilaian yang bersifat informative

Procedure/Procedural Text, Teks Prosedur, adalah teks yang berisi prosedur, instruksi, proses, cara, atau langkah-langkah dalam membuat/melakukan (mengoperasikan) sesuatu.
Ciri-ciri Procedure Text:

1. Struktur umumnya (generic structure) terdiri dari:
Goal/Aim : tujuan dan maksud isi teks. Contoh: How to make sandwich…

Material/Tool : bahan atau alat-alat yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat/melakukan sesuatu. Contoh: The materials are as follows: 1. Two slides of bread, 2. Fried-egg, strawberry jam, chocolate sprinkles, ….

rtikel ini saya tulis ketika waktu istirahat, kemungkinan besar ada penulis lain yang sudah menuliskannya, tapi tidak apa – apa sebgai tambahan artikel untuk mengisi kegiatan blogging
Guru kecil yang penulis maksud bukan “Guru yang berbadan kecil”, melainkan siswa, murid atau santri yang menggantikan posisi guru dalam pengulangan materi yang sudah di ajarkan oleh “Guru Besar “di kelas. Penempatan Guru Kecil di setiap kelas bertujuan agar siswa yang malu bertanya, takut, atau kurang PeDe bisa bertanya langsung kepada teman sekelas yang sudah menguasai pelajaran.

Pemilihan Guru Kecil atau bisa disebut ketua kelompok belajar, dipilih dari kemampauan atau kapabilitas dari masing – masing siswa. Kita pasti sangat tahu bahwa masing – masing siswa mempunyai different ability (kemampuan yang berbeda) dalam menangkap pelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru yang berbeda- beda. Ada beberapa siswa yang hanya menguasai pelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan siswa yang lain menguasai pelajaran Matematika. Dari dasar fenomena di atas, penulis mencoba membuat system knowledge sharing (berbagi ilmu) hehehe sama seperti para blogger yang saling berbagi Tips – Tips untuk mempercantik blognya.

pengajaran yang memberi kesempatan kepada anak didik untuk bekerja sama dengan sesama siswa dalam tugas-tugas yang terstruktur. Pembelajaran kooperatif dikenal dengan pembelajaran secara berkelompok. Tetapi belajar kooperatif lebih dari sekedar belajar kelompok atau kerja kelompok karena dalam belajar kooperatif ada struktur dorongan atau tugas yang bersifat kooperatif sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya interaksi secara terbuka dan hubungan yang bersifat interdepedensi efektif diantara anggota kelompok (Sugandi, 2002: 14). Hubungan kerja seperti itu memungkinkan timbulnya persepsi yang positif tentang apa yang dapat dilakukan siswa untuk mencapai keberhasilan belajar berdasarkan kemampuan dirinya secara individu dan andil dari anggota kelompok lain selama belajar bersama dalam kelompok. Untuk mencapai hasil yang maksimal, maka harus diterapkan lima unsur model pembelajaran gotong royong, yaitu:

a. Saling ketergantungan positif.
b. Tanggung jawab perseorangan.
c. Tatap muka.
d. Komunikasi antar anggota.
e. Evaluasi proses kelompok.
1. Pengertian Pembelajaran Kooperatif


Mungkin hampir sama dengan ketua kelas juga yang Memimpin teman- teman di kelas supaya tertib. Kalau ada masalah dengan pihak guru, ketua kelas yg maju dan mengutarakannya ke Ketua Kepala sekolah mewakili suara teman2 sekelas. Kalau kelas kotor, ketua kelas harus cari petugas piket hari itu siapa dan suruh bersihkan kelas yg kotor. Pokoknya namanya ketua yah berarti pemimpin. Jadi bertugas memimpin teman2 supaya patuh pada peraturan, tertib, tdk berisik di kelas..
Nah, Yang namanya Ketua Kelompok atau Guru Kecil bertugas menjadi mediator ketika tidak mendapatkan solusi ketika melakukan diskusi didalam kelas. Guru kecil ini akan menjumpai Guru pelajaran yang bersangkutan Untuk meminta jawaban yang benar dan cara menyelesaikan Susah yang dianggap susah.

Si guru kecil juga diharapkan agar lebih dekat dengan Guru agar segala permasalahan belajar bisa langsung ditanyakan ke guru yang bersangkutan

ertugas menjadi Peneliti Media Merangkum berita dan membuat riset, menjadi sebuah kerjaan harian di Info Aceh bagian Produksi media dan riset. Itu saya lakoni hingga 6 bulan, dari Lembaga tersebut saya belajar Menulis, Menulis dan menulis walaupun masih belum bisa sampai hari ini,,hehehhehe. Merangkum berita dan melakukan riset (conflict mapping methodology) dalam masa decommissioning (Pemusnahan senjata) dan pada tahap withdrawal (penarikan pasukan TNI) di Aceh. Senang rasanya bisa bekerja bersama sobat – sobat yang pantas di acungkan 2 jempol yang sekarang mereka berprofesi sebagai Wartawan Muda Handal. Mereka sudah sangat mapan untuk berkecimpung di dunia Jurnalis, Di antara sobat – sobat yang masih membekas di hati di antaranya Novia Liza, Malik Ridwan, Yusmadi dan Mahfud Marzuki (Bossnya INFOACEH).

Setelah 6 bulan berlalu ternyata setelah wawancara saya dinyatakan lulus sebagai penerjemah dan asisten produksi (Translator and production assistant) disebuah NGO asing di banda Aceh untuk pembuatan documenter Kisah – kisah anak korban Tsunami yang sudah Yatim Piatu. Dan setelah 3 bulan ternyata ada lowongan kerja sebagai tranlastor dokumen kantor di Save The Children (Office Translator). Pokoknya pengalaman makin bertambah seiring banyaknya tempat saya bekerja.
Ditahun 2009 dipanggil wawancara dan lulus untuk menjadi Interpreter dan bertugas di Takengon, Aceh Tengah. Meskipun belum terbiasa dengan Bahasa Inggris “Agricultural” Penulis memberanikan diri untuk terjun langsung bersama kawan – kawan dari FLO (Fairtrade Labeling Organization) yang dipimpin langsung Oleh Mr. Raj singham dari Srilanka. Lumayan juga sich bisa menikmati pemandangan Alam yang super Indah. Pengalaman menjadi penerjemah dan translator juga membawa sesuatu yang sangat bermanfaat. ketemu dengan berbagai Orang- Orang asing yang, jalan kaki ketika melakukan inspeksi dan melakukan Tanya jawab dengan para petani Kopi, Naik turun Gunung demi mencari berita, lelah ? so pasti.

Menjadi guru menurut saya adalah bukan sebuah cita – cita dari saya, berdasarkan pengalaman saya dipercayakan untuk mengajar dibeberapa sekolah, baik Negeri maupun Swasta. Di antaranya : Dayah Ulumuddin Islamic Boarding School, SMAN 1 MATANG KULI, Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Lhokseumawe, FLI (Foreign Language Institute) Lhokseumawe, SMPN 1 LHOKSEUMAWE RSBI, Tempat Kursus CEFOLT (Centre For Foreign language Training) Aceh Utara, Nah, dari beberapa tempat tersebut saya mendapatkan pengalaman yang berbeda – beda, murid bandel, usil, malas belajar. Tapi sebenarnya banyak hikmah yang bisa kita petik. Mengajar seakan menghipnotis saya, sehingga saya semakin ingin dan ingin berbagi walaupun hanya sedikit ilmu dan keterbatasan yang saya punya.

Cara Mengatasi Perilaku Nakal Siswa DiKelas

ebagai seorang Guru peran kita sangatlah fital di sekolah apalagi kita seorang Gurukelas maupun bidang studi apa yang harus kita lakukan. Sebaik dan sebagus apa yang Gururancang dan ciptakan ldiingkungan kelas yang positif perilaku bermasalah pada siswa ataumurid akan muncul. Sebagai harus bisa menghadapinya dengan cara efektif dan tepat waktu.Hal ini mencakup beberapa hal yang harus dilakukan seorang Guru kelas/bidang studisaat menemukan atau menhadapi permasalah perilaku siswa atau murid dalam kelas.
STRATEGI MANAJEMEN KELAS

Ini merupakan strategi guru dalam mengatur kelas, Pakar manajemen kelas CarolynEvertson dan rekannya membedakan manajemen kelas menjadi 2 diantara intervensi minordan moderasi dalam menangani perilaku bermasalah.

A.INTERVESI MINOR

Sebuah permasalahan dalam kelas yang hanya mengunakan intervesnsi minor atau kecil,masalah-masalah yang kerap muncul biasanya mengganggu aktifitas belajar di kelas. Misalnya,murid mungkin ribut sendiri, meninggalkan tempat duduk tanpa ijin, bercanda sendiri, ataumemakan permen di kelas. Strategi yang efektif antara lain adalah:

1.Menggunakan isyarat non verbal

menjalin kontak mata dengan murid. Kemudian beri isyarat atau ekspresi dengan meletakkantelunjuk jari di bibir anda, menggeleng kepala, atau menggunakan isyarat tangan untukmenghentikan perilaku tersebut.


2.Melanjutkan aktifitas belajar

kan terjadi suatu jeda dalam transisi aktifitas dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, dimanapada jeda tersebut murid tidak melakukan aktivitas. Saat itu, murid akan kesana kemarimeninggalkan tempat duduknya, mengobrol dengan temannya, bercanda dan mulai ribut.Langkah atau strategi yang tepat adalah tidak mengkoreksi tindakan mereka tetapi segeramelanjutkan aktifitas baru berikutnya, masuk sub bab baru atau bab baru dalam pelajaran.

3.Dekati murid atau siswa yang rebut atau ramai

Disaat murid mulai bertindak menyimpang atau ramai. Guru cukup mendekatinya, secaraotomatis siswa biasanya dia akan diam sendiri.


4.Mengarahkan Perilaku Siswa

Apabila murid/siswa mengabaikan tugas yang kita perintahkan, guru mengingatkansiswa/murid tentang kewajibanny. Guru bisa berkata, ´Baiklah, ingat, semua anak - anakharus bisa menyelesaikan soal matematika ini.


5.Memberi instruksi yang dibutuhkan

Kita melihat siswa melakukan kesalahan kecil saat tidak memahami cara mengerjakan tugasyang di berikan. Untuk mengatasinya Guru harus memantau atau memperhatikan murid/siswadan memberi petunjuk jika siswa membutuhkan.

6.Menyuruh murid berhenti dengan nada tegas dan langsung

Menjalin kontak mata dengan murid/siswa, bersikap asertif, dan menyuruh muridmenghentikan tindakannya. membuat pernyataan, singkat dan memantau situasi sampaimurid/siswa patuh terhadap perintah guru. Strategi ini bisa dilakukan denganmengkombinasikan strategi mengarahkan perilaku murid.

7.Memberi murid pilihan

Memberi murid/siswa tanggung jawab dengan dua alternatif pilihan, bertindak benar ataumenerima konsekuensi negatif. Memberi tahu murid/siswa apa tindakan benar itu dan apakonsekuensi bila melanggar.



B.INTERVENSI MODERAT

Ada Beberapa perilaku siswa/murid yang salah membutuhkan Intervensi yang lebih kuatdibandingkan yang baru saja dipaparkan pada intervensi minor di atas, contoh, ketika muridmenyalahgunakan aktifitasnya, mengganggu, keluar dari kelas, mengganggu pelajaran, ataumengganggu pekerjaan murid lainnya. Berikut adalah strategi yang bisa dilakukan:

Apabila seorang guru memperbolehkan murid untuk berkeliling kelas atau mengerjakan tugas dengan murid lain dan murid/siswa malah menyalahgunakan
privilese
yang guru berikan atau mengganggu pekerjaan temannya, maka anda bisa mencabut
privilese
nya.


2.Membuat perjanjian behavioral

Membuat perjanjian yang bisa disepakati dan diterima oleh semua murid. Perjanjian ini harus mencakup semua masukan dari kedua belah pihak yaitu guru dan murid. Jika muncul problematau masalah dan murid tetap keras kepala, guru bisa merujuk pada kesepakatan bersama yang telah dibuat.


3.Pisahkan atau keluarkan murid dari kelas

Apabila murid bersenda gurau dan bersikap tidak mengindahkan peringatan Guru, Sebagai Guru bisa memisahkan Murid yang nakal dari murid disekitarnya ataupun mengeluarkannya dari dalam kelas.



4.Mengenakan hukuman atau sanksi

Menggunakan hukuman atau sanksi sebaiknya tidak melakukan tindakan kekerasan, tetapi bisa dilakukan dengan memberikan tugas mengerjakan soal atau menulis halaman tambahan.
Ini merupakan sebuah kumpulan teori atau pendapat yang berkaitan dengan bagaimanamengatasi permasalah siswa dalam kelas, pengalaman dan inovasi dari Guru juga bisadilakukan,

ambil Ngopi di ALYA CAFÉ sambil membuka laptop butut yang saya punya, saya mencoba membuka artikel di google tentang “Masalah Yang dihadapi Guru” dan saya mendapatkan sebuah artikel yang cukup menarik tentang Guru Vs Wali Murid..dan saya memposting di rumohtaufar.blogspot.com dan http://taufarb.blogspot.com. Artikel ini sebelumnya pernah dimuat di www.indosiar.com

Tampar Murid, Guru Balas Ditampar Wali Murid
indosiar.com, Demak - Karena menampar siswanya yang bandel, seorang guru SMP Negeri di Demak, Jawa Tengah dianiaya orang tua siswa yang tidak terima dengan perlakuan yang menimpa anaknya. Orang tua siswa pelaku pemukulan guru tersebut akhirnya ditahan oleh petugas Polsek setempat.
Kasus pemukulan siswa SMP Negeri I Sayung Demak, Jawa Tengah oleh seorang guru yang akhirnya dibalas oleh orang tua siswa ini bermula dari pelanggaran disiplin yang dilakukan oleh Fajar Nur Habibi pelajar kelas 3B sekolah ini.
Habibi ditegur Sofyan, guru BP karena memakai sepatu warnanya yang tak seragam. Ditegur baik - baik Habibi malah mencemooh sambil mengumpat dengan kata - kata kotor. Spontan, Sofyan marah menampar wajah muridnya itu.
Akibat tamparan di wajah ini Habibi sempat tak sadarkan diri hingga dirawat Puskesmas setempat. Tak terima dengan perlakuan yang menimpa anaknya ini Guntur, orang tua Habibi akhirnya mendatangi sekolah dan langsung menghajar Sofyan, guru BP.
Guntur orang tua siswa pelaku pemukulan guru akhirnya dijemput petugas Polsek Sayung Demak dan langsung ditahan. Kasus pemukulan siswa oleh guru yang dibalas oleh orang tua siswa ini mengundang keprihatinan para guru SMP Negeri I Sayung Demak.
Sejumlah perwakilan guru yang mendatangi Polsek Sayung untuk memberikan keterangan terlihat emosional saat meluruskan kronologis kejadian di sekolah mereka.
Menurut para guru tindakan menampar siswa seperti itu disekolah merupakan hal yang wajar sebagai bagian dari mendidik para murid untuk disiplin. Siswa tersebut terbilang anak nakal dan sempat melontarkan kata - kata kotor saat ditegur gurunya. (Agus Hermanto/Dv).

pagi tadi (25/9) saya lihat berita di TV swasta, siswa balas pukul gurunya karena si guru melempar wajahnya dengan bola disebabkan si anak yang mengerjai gurunya. Seperti tak ada rasa segan dan hormat dengan sang guru. Si ortu marah dan si anak itu disuruh balas memukul kepala gurunya di depan seluruh warga sekolah dan petugas polisi. OOHH,,,kemana rasa hormat kepada yang lebih tua terutama guru yang mendidik dan memberi ilmu pada kita. Guru tadi memang salah, pi jauh lebih salah lagi si murid yang menurutku akan jadi KUALAT dengan GURUNYA. aku yakin murid yg kurang ajar dengan gurunya seperti itu hidupnya akan sengsara, begitupun orang tuanya yg mengajarkan akhlak seperti itu.

pak guru tidak akan bertindak seperti itu klo bukan si murid yang memulai. anak jaman sekarang tidak mengerti tata krama!!! jangan salahkan guru jika memang harus mengajari murid bagaimana seharusnya bersikap, tapi dengan cara2 yang berpendidikan. bukankah guru harus digugu dan ditiru, tentu saja sikapnya yang baik....

Kasus seperti ini sering terjadi diplosok tanah air, kalau dilihat dari konteks yang ada dua-dua salah, adalah kewajiban guru untuk mendidik murid, tapi jika sampai urusan rumah sakit yang sudah kelewatan, dan bagaimana pun juga tindakan orang tua wali murid adalah salah, guru tetap harus dihargai pak, kalau main pukul lebih baik guru diberi latihan silat untukbela diri

Guru Favorit Di Mata Murid

ami mengajar dari jam 7:30 pagi hingga jam 3:40 sore. Jam Sore banyak murid yang sudah Gerah ketika mereka berada di ruangan.” The Show Must Goes On” kewajiban harus tetap dilaksanakan dan kami (Guru) pantang menyerah untuk mengajar dengan penuh semangat. Kami harus membuat suasana belajar menyenangkan selama 2 X 45 Menit ke depan. Saya Juga ingin berbagi tentang seorang guru yang juga saya mengangap beliau professional walaupun masih berusia Muda. Pak M. Nur, S.Pd, seorang guru MATEMATIKA Yang mempunyai metode menyenangkan dalam mengajar, siswa relaks bertanya, dan beliau juga sangat ingin tahu tentang kepribadian muridnya sehingga beliau sangat disenangi oleh murid – muridnya.
Betahnya Murid belajar di dalam kelas juga tidak terlepas dari karakter guru dalam menyampaikan materi sehingga tak jarang murid menginginkan guru tersebut gara mengajari mereka hingga mereka tamat dari sekolah tersebut. Tak jarang juga, kalau peran seorang guru di anggap sebagai pemeran “antagonis” atau sebutan “Killer”di dalam kelas sehingga murid merasa kalau pembelajaran tidak “PAKEM”
Jatuh cintanya murid kepada Guru membuat mereka mempunyai rasa dan kemauan untuk lebih mendalami pelajaran yang di sampaikan. Pengalaman saya ketika masih belajar di Senior High school di Ulumuddin Islamic Boarding School di Tahun 2000 sampai dengan 2003. Dulu Guru Bahasa Inggris kami bernama Mr. Munawar Abu Bakar, beliau begitu semangat ketika mengajar dan selalu memompa semangat kami tentang “pentingnya Bahasa Inggris di Zaman Era Globalisasi”. Percaya atau tidak, banyak kawan – kawan seperjuangan saya, selalu ingin diskusi, short conversation Practice, dan doing English Exercise bersama di lingkungan Dayah meskipun dengan Bahasa Inggris Ala Aceh. Sampai hari ini saya masih mengingat kenangan bersama beliau. Hasilnya banyak di antara letting 2003 yang bahasa Inggrisnya masih lumayan hingga sekarang.
Banyak hal terkadang terabaikan ketika guru Mengajar di dalam kelas :

1.Kejar Materi dan kejar silabus
Guru yang merasa tidak nyaman dalam menyampaikan materi alias takut ketinggalan silabus, tak ayal kalau siswa merasa kalang kabut dalam menerima pelajaran dan mereka hanya menjadi penonton yang budiman dan malas untuk bertanya.

2.Kurang Mengenal si Anak Didik.
Anak didik yang jarang disebut atau dipanggil namanya biasanya mereka akan merasa acuh dan merasa kurang diperhatikan, sehingga banyak murid yang pendiam hanya merasa kalau pelaran yang disampaikan hanya buat mereka yang rangking 1, 2 atau 10 besar. Pengalaman seperti ini juga pernah saya rasakan ketika saya bersekolah di sebuah sekolah menengah pertama negeri Favorit di Kecamatan Syamtalira Aron Aceh Utara. Malah ada yang salah dalam memberikan nilai siswa (hehehe padahal Murid tersebut sudah pindah, Koq nilainya ada ya?)

3. Memberian Reward (penghargaan) kepada siswa yang sebelumnya acuh dan sering cabut dari kelas.
Nah ini adalah satu saran dari Pak Azhari Banta Ali kepada saya sebelum saya mengajar, dan terbukti kalau siswa yang dahulunya malas, tidak semangat, mengantuk dan sering cabut. Dengan diberikan pinsil atau permen mereka merasa diperhatikan dan semakin semngat untuk Belajar.

4.Terlalu Kaku

5.Jarang memberikan Nasehat atau pengalaman orang sukses berawal dari ketidakmampuanya.
15 menit sebelum mengakhiri pelajaran, menurut saya baiknya digunakan untuk memberikan nasehat atau motivasi untuk para anak didik. Pembelajaran menjadi semakin menarik dan menambah keakraban dengan si murid.

Semoga kita semakin baik dalam mencerdaskan anak bangsa. Mengajar mereka seperti mengajar anak kita sendiri. Mungkin saya juga masih sangat kekurangan dalam segala hal, dan juga saya masih termasuk guru junior yang masih harus banyak belajar dari Guru – guru yang sudah senior. Tulisan singkat saya ini adalah sebuah Curhat dari pengalaman – pengalaman yang saya alami dan sobat-sobat guru yang lain. Dan tulisan ini akan saya simpan di dalam Tas Guru Aceh (Berjuang Untuk Belajar Dan Mengajar Untuk Mencerdaskan Generasi Bangsa).

ni bisa saya sebut dengan tulisan kangen buat sobat – sobat yang diwisudakan dari dayah Ulumuddin Islamic Boarding School tahun 2003. Sobat – sobat itu entah kemana sekarang? Tapi saya yakin kalau mereka masih di bawah lindungan Allah Swt. Artikel ini saya beri judul dengan “Antara Aku, Kalian, Dan Kutu Busuk”…ckckckc jelek ya judulnya??

Saya yakin kalau antum masih sangat familiar dengan nama- nama Ust. Aqil Arrani, Ust. Junaidi Ilyas, Ust. Ali Sholeh, Ust. Basyiran. Ust. Munawar Abu Bakar, Ust. Muhibbuddin, Ust. Nasir, Ust. Asnawi Abdullah dan masih banyak nama – nama guru kita yang tidak mungkin saya sebutkan satu persatu. Perjuangan beliau yang sudah mencerdaskan kita patut kita berterima kasih dan penghargaan yang setinggi – tingginya. Ulumuddin adalah sebuah lembaga dimana kita menuntut ilmu, beristirahat, dan berjihad di Jalan Allah SWT.

ANTUM tentu tidak bisa melupakan kenangan tentang kebersamaan kita, ketika kita tinggal disebuah atap, Makan di dapur Yang sama, di arahkan oleh guru – guru tercinta kita, meskipun beliau sekarang tidak lagi MENGAJAR di dayah Ulumuddin tercinta, tetapi nama mereka masih membekas di hati kita masing – masing. Dari judul Artikel saya ada kesebut kutu busuk ya? Maklum, kita dulu pernah bobok,,eippsss agak lebay,,istirahat dengan ditemani si KUTU BUSUK, tapi itulah part of adventure (bagian dari perjuangan) kita untuk jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Gigitan si kutu busuk juga terkadang membangunkan kita untuk shalat tahajjud dan sholat subuh tepat waktu, Luar biasa! That’s amazing.

Teriakan Ustad Asnawi ketika menjelang subuh dan siraman air dari Ustad Nasir (sekarang beliau menjadi seorang anggota dewan ) ketika kita menikmati tidur itu masih menjadi kenangan terindah hingga hari ini. Sobat – sobat tercintaku mungkin sekarang sudah menyebar dimana- mana, ada yang menjadi dosen, pengusaha, guru, PNS, dan menjalani profesi yang berbeda – beda. KUTU BUSUK menjadi saksi antara Aku dan Kalian.

Penulis yang sekarang berprofesi sebagai guru bahasa inggris disebuah intansi swasta, dulu juga tidak terlepas dari pelanggaran bahasa, pukulan rotan di tangan dan kaki ketika kita melanggar bahasa (berbahasa Aceh dan Bahasa Indonesia) yang diharamkan oleh Guru – guru kita yang bertujuan untuk memperlancar kemampuan “BILINGUAL” Yaitu bahasa inggris dan Bahasa Arab. Namun, sekarang kita sudah merasakan bahwa pentingnya menguasai bahasa untuk menghadapi Era Global.

Tulisan singkat ini mungkin menjadi “Unforgetable Moment Note” buat kita bersama, saya juga menyempatkan menuliskan Biography singkat Antum (catatan dulu hingga sekarang) semoga bermanfaat dan menjalin keakraban dan meningkatan keakraban untuk saling berbagi. Antony And Cleopatra

Mark Antony became one of the three rulers of the Roman Empire, together with Octavius Caesar and Lepidus, and was responsible for the eastern part of the empire. He fell in love with Cleopatra, the Queen of Egypt.

As his wife had just died Antony married Octavius’ sister, Octavia, in an attempt to heal the rift between the two emperors. When Cleopatra heard about Antony’s marriage she flew into a jealous rage as she knew that Antony did not love Octavia. Antony went to Athens when war broke out between Caesar and Pompey, Antony sent Octavia back to Rome and he returned to Egypt.

Caesar was very angry with Antony’s behaviour and he declared war on both Antony and Cleopatra. When the Romans arrived, Antony was offered a choice of how to fight. He chose to fight on sea. The Egyptian navy was inadequate. When Cleopatra’s navy turned and fled, Antony followed them. Caesar defeated him.

Antony got news that Cleopatra was dead. Antony was devastated and decided to kill himself. He wounded himself without dying. His followers took him to Cleopatra’s tomb, where he died in her arms.

Naruto was walking alone in the Konoha village, he saw Hinata and waved to her. Fortunately
Hinata turned around and walked over to him.

"Hey, Hinata, would you like to take a walk with me?" Naruto asked smilingly but Hinata blushed and looked down, quiet for a second.
"Hm? What's wrong?" Naruto ask looking at her.
"Oh! Um nothing Naruto kun. I... I love to.. walk with with you." Hinata said shyly.

Naruto placed his hands behind his head and smiled. Hinata walked by him as the two were silent for a moment. "Hinata, why are you so quiet all the time?" Naruto broke the silent.
Hinata didnt answer, then hesitated, "....I.... I've... always... been... that way." She said softly.
"I see. You need to talk more-- how am I supposed to know more about you, if you don't talk. You're always acting weird around me." Naruto pointed out.
Hinata looked at him shyly then looked down looking ashamed. "S.......sorry. I--"
"Hm?" Naruto replied not opening his mouth.
"I..... I l--li.....like y.. you!" She said finally committing her feelings. Her face blushed a deep red.

Naruto stopped walking. He didn't know what to say. Silence took ove the moment.
Tears filled in Hinata's eyes "S-sorry!" She said in a quiet tone as she took off running, ashamed. Tears flew from her eyes as she ran passed.

Naruto ran after her. But Hinata ran fast. Suddenly She tripped on a tree stump. Her face implanted in the dirt, as her hands clenched the grass and dirt. She sobbed quietly.

Naruto finally caught up to her. He crouched down, placed his hand, shaking on Hinatas shoulder. "Hinata... do... do you really like me?" He asked in his quiet tone.
Under her muffled crying voice, Hinata answered, "y...yes..."
Naruto didn't answer for a moment, then he replied, "Well... I have...feelings for you too.... I like you, Hinata"

ne day there was a monkey. He wanted to cross a river. There he saw a crocodile so he asked the crocodile to take him across the other side of the river. The crocodile agree and told the monkey to jump on its back. Then the crocodile swam down the river with the monkey on his top.
Unluckily, the crocodile was very hungry, he stopped in the middle of the river and said to the monkey, “My father is very sick. He has to eat the heart of the monkey. So he will be healthy again.”

At the time, the monkey was in dangerous situation and he had to think hard. Then he had a good idea. He told the crocodile to swim back to the river bank. “What’s for?” asked the crocodile. “Because I don’t bring my heart,” said the monkey. “I left it under a tree, near some coconuts in the river bank.”
The crocodile agreed and turned around. He swam back to the bank of the river. As soon as they reached the river bank, the monkey jumped off the crocodile’s back. Then he climbed up to the top of a tree.

“Where is your heart?” asked the crocodile. “You are foolish,” said the monkey to the crocodile. “Now I am free and I have my heart.”

The Story of Sangkuriang and Tangkuban Perahu Mountain

O

nce, there was a kingdom in Priangan Land. Lived a happy family. They were a father in form of dog,his name is Tumang, a mother which was called is Dayang Sumbi, and a child which was called Sangkuriang.
One day, Dayang Sumbi asked her son to go hunting with his lovely dog, Tumang. After hunting all day, Sangkuriang began desperate and worried because he hunted no deer. Then he thought to shot his own dog. Then he took the dog liver and carried home.
Soon Dayang Sumbi found out that it was not deer lever but Tumang's, his own dog. So, She was very angry and hit Sangkuriang's head. In that incident, Sangkuriang got wounded and scar then cast away from their home.

Years go bye, Sangkuriang had travel many places and finally arrived at a village. He met a beautiful woman and felt in love with her. When they were discussing their wedding plans, The woman looked at the wound in Sangkuriang's head. It matched to her son's wound who had left severall years earlier. Soon she realized that she felt in love with her own son.
She couldn't marry him but how to say it. Then, she found the way. She needed a lake and a boat for celebrating their wedding day. Sangkuriang had to make them in one night. He built a lake. With a dawn just moment away and the boat was almost complete. Dayang Sumbi had to stop it. Then, she lit up the eastern horizon with flashes of light. It made the cock crowed for a new day.
Sangkuriang failed to marry her. She was very angry and kicked the boat. It felt over and became the mountain of Tangkuban Perahu Bandung.

The Myth of Malin Kundang

A

long time ago, in a small village near the beach in West Sumatra, a woman and her son lived. They were Malin Kundang and her mother. Her mother was a single parent because Malin Kundang's father had passed away when he was a baby. Malin Kundang had to live hard with his mother.
Malin Kundang was a healthy, dilligent, and strong boy. He usually went to sea to catch fish. After getting fish he would bring it to his mother, or sold the caught fish in the town.
One day, when Malin Kundang was sailing, he saw a merchant's ship which was being raided by a small band of pirates. He helped the merchant. With his brave and power, Malin Kundang defeated the pirates. The merchant was so happy and thanked to him. In return the merchant asked Malin Kundang to sail with him. To get a better life, Malin Kundang agreed. He left his mother alone.
Many years later, Malin Kundang became wealthy. He had a huge ship and was helped by many ship crews loading trading goods. Perfectly he had a beautiful wife too. When he was sailing his trading journey, his ship landed on a beach near a small village. The villagers recognized him. The news ran fast in the town; “Malin Kundang has become rich and now he is here”.
An old woman ran to the beach to meet the new rich merchant. She was Malin Kundang’s mother. She wanted to hug him, released her sadness of being lonely after so long time. Unfortunately, when the mother came, Malin Kundang who was in front of his well dressed wife and his ship crews denied meeting that old lonely woman. For three times her mother begged Malin Kundang and for three times he yelled at her. At last Malin Kundang said to her "Enough, old woman! I have never had a mother like you, a dirty and ugly woman!" After that he ordered his crews to set sail. He would leave the old mother again but in that time she was full of both sadness and angriness.
Finally, enraged, she cursed Malin Kundang that he would turn into a stone if he didn't apologize. Malin Kundang just laughed and really set sail.
In the quiet sea, suddenly a thunderstorm came. His huge ship was wrecked and it was too late for Malin Kundang to apologize. He was thrown by the wave out of his ship. He fell on a small island. It was really too late for him to avoid his curse. Suddenly, he turned into a stone.

Narrative Analysis on Generic Structure
Many believe that a story can teach a society certain moral value. Most stories are build in narrative. Because it is a narrative story, it must consists of complication. That complication, in fact, is the moral value which like to be taught.


Orientation; the first paragraph is set to be the story introduction. Reading the orientation, reader will know that the story is characterized with Malin Kundang and his mother. Wes Sumatra is set as the place.

Complication; this is the main element of narrative story. From the Malin Kundang myth, we know that there are more than one complication. Many stories are composed with multi complications. They are minor complication and major complication. When Malin Kundang and her mother did life hard, it can be the minor complication. this hard life in the first time was solved by his successful trading as new merchant. However this narrative sotry is more interesting when we see the major complication among the participants- Malin Kundang denied his mother after being successful merchant. In every story, complication must be ended; happy ending or sad one

Narrative is the most famous type of any text. Various purposes are communicated in a narrative type. However the way it is constructed is describing certain event, character or phenomenon in detail. Narrative prefer showing to telling and that the power of narrative. Reader will feel as he show by him self what happen in the text. Actually narrative can be fiction such as short story or novel and non-fiction like memoirs.
According to Madison smart Bell, the narrative design, or what we call form or structure, is of first and final importance to any work of fiction. In that structure, we will find elements of story; characterization, point of view, theme and plot. Plot is the way of the story constructed.

When we read a text, we can call it narrative as we see the following generic structure inside the text:
Orientation; the introduction of what is inside the text. What text is talk in general. Who involves in the text. When and where it happen.

Complication; what happens with the participants. It explores the conflict among the participants. Complication is the main element of narrative. Without complication, the text is not narrative. The conflict can be shown as natural, social or psychological conflict.

Resolution; this is the phase where the participants solve the problem aroused by the conflict. It is not matter whether the participants succeed or fail. The point is the conflict becomes ended.

Building Narrative Text with Complication

I

n simple word, narrative text has generic structure as orientation, complication and resolution. This complication is the heart structure of narrative text. The complication will determine whether the text "lives" or not. If the narrative text consider as the "live" text, it will arouse the reader. It will intrude to the emotion of the reader. Commonly narrative text appears as story text. In literary term, the complication structure is called conflict. Basically, conflict is divided into three kinds. In any writing, each type will not take place with its own type. Each often combines to other type in building the story.

Physical conflict, or in other word as elemental conflict, is description of man's struggle to his physical word. It represents man versus nature force, difficulty and danger. How man survives from flood, exploding mount is clear example of physical conflict.
Social conflict is the second type. It will show the struggle of man against his society. It is description of struggle between man and man. Cinderella wants to go to party but her step mother and sisters do not permit her. She eagerly to have the opportunity to meet the prince but her step mother and sister try to block this opportunity and take it for themselves. It is a perfect picture of social conflict.

Internal or psychological conflict is a conflict which happens inside the participant. A man struggles against himself, his conscience, his guilty. He wants to steal money in the other hand he knows that stealing is not good. The fight of stealing money against having good deed is a psychological conflict
The struggle among these conflicts includes verbal and physical attempts. Narrative text will be perfectly composed by these kinds of conflict. Some time it will apply one type but it often combines these three kinds of conflict.

Kite’s tale
The sun shone brightly and the west breeze blew. The kite was flying this way and that way tied to her string.
Suddenly the string snapped. The kite was free. She soared high in the air until she could see far, far away.
The kite followed some parrots who took her to see the rainforests. The air was cool and the kite got wet.
The kite followed some crocodiles who took her to see the rivers. The air was misty and the kite caught a fish.
The kite followed some wallabies who took her to see the deserts. The air was hot and the kite got tired.
So the kite followed the sun who took her back home, right to her string

The example of Narrative above is taken from Jeany Eather. We see that Narrative will be a narrative if the text include any complication among the characters. Narrative is mainly to tell a story. Telling a story is intended to entertain as well teach certain moral values.
From the narrative example above, we can see the specific generic structure which actually makes this text different from other text types
The first paragraph is setting the scene. This scene set up will include information of who, what, when and where. This is actually what we know as Orientation to introduce the participant in the text, kite and information near it.
The second paragraph is introducing a problem as complication set which is followed by other three paragraphs as series of event.
The last paragraph is the resolution to end the story. Resolution can be good or bad.

The Legend of Toba Lake

O

nce upon time, there was a handsome man. His name was Batara Guru Sahala. He liked fishing. One day, he caught a fish. He was surprised to find out that the fish could talk. The fish begged him to set it free.

Batara Guru could not bear it. He made the fish free. As soon as it was free, the fish changed into a very beautiful woman. She attracted Batara Guru so much. He felt in love with that fish-woman. The woman wanted to marry with him and said that Batara Guru had to keep the secret which she had been a fish. Batara Guru aggreed and promised that he would never tell anybody about it.
They were married happily. They had two daughters. One day Batara Guru got very angry with his daughter. He could not control his mad. He shouted angrily and got the word of fish to his daugters. The daughters were crying. They found their mother and talked her about it.
The mother was very annoyed. Batara Guru broke his promise. The mother was shouting angrily. Then the earth began to shake. Volcanoes started to erupt. The earth formed a very big hole. People believed that the big hole became a lake. Then this lake is known as Toba lake.

Note on Narrative Generic Structure
ORIENTATION: The first paragraph presents information about the participant of the story. In literary term, the participant is called as character. Orientation commonly introduces information about WHO, WHERE and WHEN.

COMPLICATION: Paragraph two explores the niche of the story. That is conflict among the characters of the story. This conflict will involve physical and psychological conflict. The conflict is actually the heart of any narrative text. It will drive the participant to make effort in solving the crisis.

RESOLUTION: The last paragraph closes the story with solving the crisis. However it can be better or worse.

The Difference between recount and narrative

Something which happened in the past is the main resource to compose both recount and narrative text. In writer's point of view, the thing is an experience. It can be what the writer has done, hear, read, and felt. Composing recount and narrative is retelling the experiences of the past event to be a present event.

What does recounts differ from narrative?
The easiest way to catch the difference is analyzing the generic structure. Recount text presents the past experiences in order of time or place; what happened on Sunday, then on Monday, the on Tuesday. In simple way, recount describes series of events in detail. It does not expose the struggle on how to make them happen. The event happened smoothly. On the other hand, narrative introduces crises and how to solve them. Narrative text always appear as a hard potrait of participant's past experience. It reveals the conflict among the participants. Cinderella's conflicts with her step mother and sister are the example. The conflict is the most important element in a narrative text. Narrative without comflicts is not narrative any more.

nce upon a time, there was once a guy who was very much in love with this girl. This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl. Although, at that time he was just a small executive in his company, his future doesn't seem too bright, they were very happy together. Until one day, his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so let's go their own ways there and then... heartbroken, the guy agreed.
When he regained his confidence, he worked hard day and night, just to make something out of himself. Finally with all these hard work and with the help of friends, this guy had set up his own company...


"You never fail until you stop trying." he always told himself. "I must make it in life!" One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walking to some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn't take him long to realize those were his ex-girlfriend's parents. With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the couple, wanting them to spot him in his luxury saloon. He wanted them to know that he wasn't the same anymore, he had his own company, car, condo, etc. He had made it in life!

Before the guy can realize, the couple was walking towards a cemetery, and he got out of his car and followed them...and he saw his exgirlfriend, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone... and he saw his precious paper cranes in a bottle placed beside her tomb. Her parents saw him.He walked over and asked them why this had happened. They explained that she did not leave for France at all. She was stricken ill with cancer. In her heart, she had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want her illness to be his obstacle ... therefore she had chosen to leave him.
She had wanted her parents to put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again he can take some of those back with him. The guy

Then Snow white ad the seven dwarfs lived happily ever after.

One night when the people of Jonah’s village were sleeping, the Syrian knights attacked his village. They burned down the houses. One of them threw a torch into Jonah’s house. Jonah’s house was on fire.

Jonah and his parents avoided the fire burning their house. They saved themselves by climbing a ladder to the upstairs. It was too high for them to jump down to the ground from the upstairs. Jonah’s father took a rope to get down from the stairs to the ground. They escaped to another village.

Jonah and his parents lived in a fishermen village. They became fishermen.
One day, when they were fishing in the sea, Jonah fell into the sea. Jonah was drawn into the sea. A whale came closed to him. He tried to swim avoiding the whale as fast as possible but he failed and at last the whale swallowed him. Jonah was still alive in the stomach of the whale. He prayed to God to be released from the stomach of the whale.
Fortunately God granted his prayer. The whale came closed to an island. It opened its mouth and Jonah came out from its stomach.

Queen of Arabia and Three Sheiks

Maura, who like to be thought of as the most beautiful and powerful queen of Arabia, had many suitors. One by one she discarded them, until her list was reduced to just three sheiks. The three sheiks were all equally young and handsome. They were also rich and strong. It was very hard to decide who would be the best of them.
One evening, Maura disguised herself and went to the camp of the three sheiks. As they were about to have dinner, Maura asked them for something to eat. The first gave her some left over food. The second Sheik gave her some unappetizing camel’s tail. The third sheik, who was called Hakim, offered her some of the most tender and tasty meat. After dinner, the disguised queen left the sheik’s camp.
The following day, the queen invited the three sheiks to dinner at her palace. She ordered her servant to give each one exactly what they had given her the evening before. Hakim, who received a plate of delicious meat, refused to eat it if the other two sheiks could not share it with him.
This Sheik Hakim’s act finally convinced Queen Maura that he was the man for her. “Without question, Hakim is the most generous of you” she announced her choice to the sheiks. “So it is Hakim I will marry”.

Narrative Complication in Generic Structure
The above example of narrative text tells a story which can amuse the reader. Amusing and entertaining are the power of narrative text to attract the reader. Reader will tend to follow the whole story.
As it is said many times that the heart of narrative text is the existence of the complication. It will drive the plot of the story to keep amusing. The existence of conflict inside the Queen Maura is what builds the story keep running. The psychological conflict inside Maura, which she strike against herself, is arousing the readers attention to continue reading the story. They want to know what next will happen, who will be chosen by Queen Maura, in what way she will decide who is the best. Keeping knowing them really entertaining as well increasing the moral value added.

2. Complication: Queen Maura find out that it was very difficult to choose one as the best among them

I

n the town of Verona there lived two families, the Capulets and the Montagues. They engaged in a bitter feud. Among the Montagues was Romeo, a hot-blooded young man with an eye for the ladies. One day, Romeo attended the feast of the Capulets', a costume party where he expected to meet his love, Rosaline, a haughty beauty from a well-to-do family. Once there, however, Romeo's eyes felt upon Juliet, and he thought of Rosaline no more.
The vision of Juliet had been invading his every thought. Unable to sleep, Romeo returned late that night to the Juliet's bedroom window. There, he was surprised to find Juliet on the balcony, professing her love for him and wishing that he were not a "Montague", a name behind his own. "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Romeo was ready to deny his name and professed his love. The two agreed to meet at nine o-clock the next morning to be married.

Early the next morning, Romeo came to Friar Lawrence begging the friar to marry him to Juliet. The Friar performed the ceremony, praying that the union might someday put an end to the feud between the two families. He advised Romeo kept the marriage a secret for a time.

On the way home, Romeo chanced upon his friend Mercutio arguing with Tybalt, a member of the Capulet clan. That quarreling last caused Merquito died. Romeo was reluctant no longer. He drew his sword and slew Tybalt died. Romeo realized he had made a terrible mistake. Then Friar Lawrence advised Romeo to travel to Mantua until things cool down. He promised to inform Juliet.
In the other hand, Juliet's father had decided the time for her to marry with Paris. Juliet consulted Friar Lawrence and made a plot to take a sleeping potion for Juliet which would simulate death for three days. The plot proceeded according to the plan. Juliet was sleeping in death.

Unfortunately, The Friar's letter failed to reach Romeo. Under the cover of darkness, he broke into Juliet's tomb. Romeo kissed the lips of his Juliet one last time and drank the poison. Meanwhile, the effects of the sleeping potion wear off. Juliet woke up calling for Romeo. She found her love next to her but was lying dead, with a cup of poison in his hand. She tried to kiss the poison from his lips, but failed. Then Juliet put out his dagger and plunged it into her breast. She died

Bawang merah and Bawang putih

BAWANG Putih lived with her step mother and her step sister, Bawang Merah. Bawang Putih's mother died when she was a baby. Her father remarried another woman and later her step sister was born. Unfortunately, not long after that her father died. Since then, Bawang Putih's life was sad. Her step mother and her step sister treated Bawang Putih badly and always asked her to do all the household chores.

One morning, Bawang Putih was washing some clothes in a river. Accidentally, her mother's clothes were washed away by the river. She was really worried so she walked along the river side to find the clothes. Finally she met an old woman. She said that she kept the clothes and would give them back to Bawang Putih if she helped the old woman do the household chores. Bawang Putih helped her happily. After everything was finished, the old woman returned the clothes. She also gave Bawang Putih a gift. The old woman had two pumpkins, one pumpkin was small and the other one was big. Bawang Putih had to choose one.

Bawang Putih was not a greedy girl. So she took the small one. After thanking the old woman, Bawang Putih then went home. When she arrived home, her step mother and Bawang Merah were angry. They had been waiting for her all day long. Bawang Putih then told about the clothes, the old woman, and the pumpkin. Her mother was really angry so she grabbed the pumpkin and smashed it to the floor. Suddenly they all were surprised. Inside the pumpkin they found jewelries. "Bawang Merah, hurry up. Go to the river and throw my clothes into the water. After that, find the old woman. Remember, you have to take the big pumpkin," the step mother asked Bawang Merah to do exactly the same as Bawang Putih's experience. Bawang Merah immediately went to the river.

She threw the clothes and pretended to search them. Not long after that, she met the old woman. Again she asked Bawang Merah to do household chores. She refused and asked the old woman to give her a big pumpkin. The old woman then gave her the big one. Bawang Merah was so happy. She ran very fast. When she arrived home, her mother was impatient. She directly smashed the pumpkin to the floor. They were screaming. There were a lot of snakes inside the pumpkin! They were really scared. They were afraid the snakes would bite them. "Mom, I think God just punished us. We had done bad things to Bawang Putih. And God didn't like that. We have to apologize to Bawang Putih," said Bawang Merah.

Finally both of them realized their mistakes. They apologized and Bawang Putih forgave them. Now the family is not poor anymore. Bawang Putih decided to sell all the jewelries and used the money for their daily lives.

nce upon a time, there lived a bear and a rabbit. The rabbit is a good shot. In contrary, the bear is always clumsy and could not use the arrow.
One day, the bear called over the rabbit and asked the rabbit to take his bow and arrows.
The rabbit was fearing to arouse the bear's anger so he could not refuse it. He went with the bear and shot enough buffalo to satisfy the hungry family. Indeed he shot and killed so many that there were lots of meats left after.

However the bear did not want the rabbit to get any of the meat. The rabbit could not even taste the meat. The poor rabbit would have to go home hungry after his hard day's work.
The bear was the father of five children. Fortunately, the youngest child was very kind to the rabbit. He was very hearty eater. The mother bear always gave him an extra large piece of meat but the youngest child did not eat it. He would take it outside with him and pretended to play ball with the meat. He kicked toward the rabbit's house.When he got close to the door he would give the meat with such a great kick. The meat would fly into the rabbit's house. In this way, the poor rabbit would get his meal.

I

t is important to know that the social function of the narrative text is to inform and entertain. Narrative text will tell the story with amusing way. It provides an esthetic literary experience to the reader. Narrative text is written based on life experience. In literary term, experience is what we do, feel, hear, read, even what we dream.
Narrative text is organized focusing at character oriented. It is build using descriptive familiar language and dialogue. There are some genres of literary text which fit to be classified as the narrative text. Some of them are:
Folktales, it includes fables, legend, myth, or realistic tales
Mysteries, fantasy, science or realistic fiction

Commonly, narrative text is organized by the story of grammar. It will be beginning, middle and end of the story. To build this story grammar, narrative text need plot. This plot will determine the quality of the story. Plot is a series of episodes which holds the reader’ attention while they are reading the story.
Conflict is the main important element of the plot. This conflict among the characters will drive the story progress. In this conflict, readers will be shown how the characters face the problem and how they have ability to handle that problem

Analysis the Generic Structure
Orientation: It sets the scene and introduces the participants/characters. In that parrot story, the first paragraph is the orientation where reader finds time and place set up and also the participant as the background of the story. A man and his parrot took place once time.

Complication: It explores the conflict in the story. It will show the crisis, rising crisis and climax of the story. In the parrot story, paragraph 2, 3, 4 are describing the complication. Readers will find that the man face a problem of why the parrot can not say Catano. To fix this problem, the man attempted to teach the bird. How hard he tried to teach the bird is the excitement element of the complication.

Resolution: It shows the situation which the problems have been resolved. It must be our note that “resolved” means accomplished whether succeed or fail. In the last paragraph of the smartest parrot story, readers see the problem is finished. The parrot could talk the word which the man wanted. The parrot said the word with higher degree than the man taught the word to it. That was the smartest parrot.
