etelah postingan sebelumnya tentang teks descriptive yang menjelaskan tentang seseorang, tempat, dan benda – benda. Nah, postingan kali ini tentang teks Narrative. Teks Narrative juga punya beberapa bentuk mulai dari dongeng, cerita rakyat, cerita mitos , Parable, novel, cerita Fiksi, cerita horror dan cerita Legenda.

Definition of Narrative (Defenisi Teks Narrative)
Teks narrative adalah sebuah teks yang memfokuskan tokoh – tokoh tertentu. Teks tersebut berfungsi untuk menceritakan cerita – cerita ATAU menjelaskan kejadian – kejadian yang lampau dan menghibur pembaca
Narrative is a text focusing specific participants. Its social function is to tell stories or past events and entertain the readers.

Generic Structure of Narrative
A narrative text will consists of the following structure:

1.Orientation: Introducing the participants and informing the time and the place
(mempekenalkan tokoh – tokoh dan menginformasikan waktu dan tempat)

2.Complication: Describing the rising crises which the participants have to do with
(mengambarkan Crisis atau masalah yang muncul yang dihadapi oleh tokoh – tokoh dalam cerita tersebut)

3.Resolution: Showing the way of participant to solve the crises, better or worse
(menunjukan cara penyelesaian masalah yang dihadapi oleh tokoh, lebih baik atau lebih buruk)

Language Features of Narrative (ciri –ciri bahasa yang digunakan)

•Using temporal conjunction
•Using Simple Past Tense
